SEAQUAL polyester fiber, which emerged as a result of our cooperation with SEAQUAL INITIATIVE, won the "Best Textile Industry Project" award among 230 projects carried out in various branches within the scope of the "Rdconf R&D and Innovation Awards" competition. With our project, which deals with the comparison of yarn and fabric obtained from “Conventional Polyester Fiber” and “SEAQUAL INITIATIVE Polyester Fiber”, we aim to consume our own resources more slowly by bringing the fiber obtained from pet wastes collected from the oceans and seas to the sector.
We are proud to be the first and only manufacturer of SEAQUAL INITIATIVE in Turkey. Join us in this collaboration.
Seaqual Initiative
SEAQUAL INITIATIVE is a community that stands as one voice against plastic pollution. It brings together individuals, organizations and companies to help clean up our oceans, raise awareness of marine plastic and highlight the heroes working to solve it. In addition, SEAQUAL INITIATIVE supports local communities to improve waste management and recycling infrastructure.
Marine litter from our beaches on the ocean floor and surface or entering our oceans via rivers and estuaries is collected through cleanup programs. It is then divided into different types of materials. In SEAQUAL INITIATIVE approved facilities, the plastic part is cleaned and converted into SEAQUAL® MARINE PLASTIC. It is then returned to industry to be converted into beautiful, new, sustainable products. Conversion of marine litter into SEAQUAL® MARINE PLASTIC:
- It prevents marine litter from being sent to the landfill and burned, thus contributing to greenhouse gas emissions.
- It raises awareness about the marine litter problem.
- It provides visibility to the people and organizations that help clean up our oceans.
